Not a man. Not an apple. Somewhere in between.
Deadpan handheld test rig that always lands in the middle.
1The Mechanic
A single fat slider labeled Man ◄─────► Apple. Drag it hard. It hums, protests, and springs to exact center. Big rubber stamp: MANple Detected. The character steeples hands and gives a tiny smirk wobble, like a photo caught breathing. No matter how certain you feel, the rig refuses to be.
2Spec Badges
Tiny pea-green labels tick along the bezel. They don't rank or glow; they sit there, petty and official, the way lab stickers do.

3Status LEDs
Two jittering readouts argue without end. They never lock, they never add to anything reassuring. When the slider snaps center, a small chime, MANple Detected flashes, and the LEDs wobble into a petty stalemate.
4Operator Log
Center rebound: subject unblinking; aroma: inconclusive.
Probe pulled to Man: subject clears throat; no seeds observed.
Bias to Apple: faint crunch reported; tie adjusted defensively.

5Hardware Dither Mode
Off: clean pea-green blocks, calm edges. On: pixel shimmer, edges crawl like a cheap handheld under a desk lamp. The subject's shadow freckles. Nothing becomes clearer. The slider still snaps back.
